This was the president explicitly telling Americans, en masse, to take a drug that may have serious effects for them, that hasn't been proven safe and effective for this use, and that is needed by others with serious illnesses for which it is proven.
My team spent last week trying to understand how the Administration is or isn't directing the medical equipment supply chain.
Our conclusion: it's a total, complete, absolute clusterf**k.
No one is in charge. No one knows the rules. No one knows where the supplies are.
Somehow the government can produce a virtually unlimited amount of bombs for every possible situation but everyone has to make their own mask out of a t-shirt
